2. Notts Games Update!
a. Nottingham Games Transportation
We will cater a bus for the Malaysian Notts Games which means;
Bus pick us up from Bar One - drop us at Nottingham University - we play, cheer, eat, and socialise - bus pick us up from Nottingham University - send us back to Bar One - we drink at Bar One.
This is strictly on a first come first serve basis. At the moment, it's limited to only 25 places as we're co-hosting it with SMSA. So please DO e-mail us or text us back if you want to go.

Exactly a week after the Malaysian version, we head back to Notts for more sporting action.

*This year's games throws out some pretty interesting stuff. I like the idea of floorball and adventure games- both of which promises to be interesting if we get a team out for each.
*quoting from the e-mail i recieved, 'Adventure Games, its a new event this year which will comprise of teams of 6 people racing against time and each other to complete various objectives in a Robin Hood themed raced throughout the whole university campus. scores will be based on how fast each objective is completed and how many bonus points each team will be able to accumulate throughout the whole game.'
Closing date for registration for the games is 25/10/'08. If interested, please let me know by then. I'll be asking around during the sports social this Saturday before I send the forms off. Again, supporters are most welcome as well.

there are packed lunches which cost 5 pounds, "catered by Pretty Orchid. Pretty Orchid is this amazing Asian restaurant in Nottingham which serves delicious asian cuisine. The owner happens to be Malaysian so you know you'll get as close to asian food as possible. First hand experience, you won't regret paying for the lunch pack. its delicious!"

4. Nottingham Malaysian Games!
Every year, the Nottingham Malaysian Society organizes the Nottingham M'sian Games at the University of Nottingham to encourage healthy sportsmanship and nurture interaction among Malaysian students in the United Kingdom. Last year about 5000 people from various universities in the UK attended the games. You will see that this is the largest gathering of M'sian students in the UK.

MASSOC will provide a bus to and fro from Nottingham on that day itself. The transport price will be confirmed once we sort out the booking of the bus. If you feel like joining us in Nottingham to cheer on the MASSOC players (and indulge in yummy M'sian food) you are most welcome. It will be a good place to meet up with some friends from the other universities.

Hui Wei would like to proudly announce a good news to all MASSOC members! Hui Wei is starting something very special solely for oriental students on every Sunday evening. You can just chill out at the groovy Hui Wei's bar while enjoying the live solo singing performance without having to order a meal. You will be served free sandwiches too!! On the other hand, MASSOC members are entitled to a 15% discount on the Special Chinese Menu. This special event starts on the Sunday of 20th May 07. Check out the attached poster for more details.
